iPad Cover

I went onto Etsy (always dangerous) and saw a pattern for an iPad cover.  It wasn't too expensive, so I got it for fun.  It came with the pattern pieces to cut out (in PDF), as well as a very detailed instruction PDF with pictures for every step of the way.  It was a nicely done little tutorial.
I used very heavy-weight Pellon iron-on facing and some canvas material.
Here are the components:

There was also a lot of measuring and small square pieces of canvas and Pellon.  Here is the finished cover.

It was a fun little project, but I don't think I would recommend it.  It is REALLY hard to get the stitching even on the rounded corners (as in, I failed at this- see picture).  Plus, the cover has to be precise or the iPad will be loose.  I ended up buying a cover on sale somewhere that is a tighter fit, but I'd use this concept for covering other things.
